Schedule of meetings of the centre quality commission (pdf)
Joint Commission
In 2024, an academic-administrative commission was established to facilitate processes and communication between undergraduate degree coordinators and the administrative office. This committee meets regularly and maintains a summary of actions and activities it promotes, but not minutes. Actors involved in the issues to be discussed at each meeting are invited to attend. It is composed on a permanent basis of two undergraduate degree coordinators (Óscar Ballesteros García and Miguel Ángel Rodríguez), the centre administrator, the Vice-Dean for Academic Organisation and the Vice-Dean for Quality and Teaching Innovation.
Quality policy and strategic objectives of the centre
The centre is committed to improvement through the following Quality Policy, which establishes its vision and strategic direction and is reflected in strategic objectives defined by its senior management team:
- Quality policy
- Strategic objectives (approved Faculty Board 21/12/2021)
- Programme contract
- Strategic Plan 2023–2024 (approved Faculty Board 12/5/2023) (pdf)
- Strategic Plan 2025–2026 (approved Faculty Board 28/4/2025) (pdf)
The Faculty must have strategic objectives through its Strategic Plan as a framework of reference for the SGCC.
Quality manual
A document that records the centre's quality management system and incorporates all the centre's academic and administrative processes (process map) and a brief description of these. The manual references responsible bodies, documents, regulations, procedures (which already exist within the University of Granada) and describes in detail the stages of the various processes.
System results and accountability
The improvement methodology of the implemented quality management system generates periodic analyses reflected in Management Reports; improvement actions on the different aspects covered in the scope of the quality management system and documents that evidence its implementation, such as the communication plan, minutes and other evidence that are included in the following sections.
Centre Management Report. This is the annual analysis the centre carries out of the previous academic year, in which all the analyses and decisions adopted and the results achieved are reflected.
Centre Improvement Plan: This is the document that records all the centre's improvement actions, their objectives, those responsible, timeframe and tracking and achievement indicators. This Improvement Plan shall integrate that of the degree programmes.
Communication Plan (version PDF): A document that records the objectives, those responsible, channels and timetable of the actions aimed at disseminating information and accountability to all the centre's stakeholders. A simplified version of this plan can be consulted in this link.
Documentation and evidence: Minutes, documents or records that evidence the implementation of the quality management system.
